The rugs by Silvia Nayla are made by a regional company that has been manufacturing natural fiber rugs for fifteen years. They use wooden looms and weavers taking advantage from a millennium and totally primitive handcraft technique. The group of artisans make up textures and weave using different raw materials such as jute, leather, sisal, wool, silk straw, cotton. Electric power is not used in his kind of weaving. The wool is sheared and benefited as in former times. Colors are achieved by a dying procedure in special tanks with coloring also through a handcraft process. The result is outstanding.
